Could this be the world’s quickest Kawasaki? British outfit Tim Blakemore Racing has built this monster based on a ZX-12R, and it pumps out an awe-inspiring 441kW (600hp).
Engine mods include Carillo rods, MTC pistons, plus a G35 turbo. The transmission has been swapped for a specialist four-speeder from Weissman. That lot is sat in a chrome-moly chassis, custom-made by Webster Engineering.
Running costs are alarming: it chews through 4lt of methanol per run and eats a 12in Goodyear Eagle rear hoop every 10 to 15 starts.
It accelerates from 0 to 112km/h in under a second, and does a 6.82sec quarter with a terminal speed of over 320km/h. It's quick. Maybe too quick...
Check out the Tim Blakemore Racing website for details on its other projects, including a 200 rear wheel horsespower Suzuki B-King nakedbike.
