Wing to get airbag?
Honda's flagship tourer, the Goldwing 1800 is to be fitted with the world's first production motorcycle airbag according to overseas reportsWe understand it's to be made available as an option only in its home market, the USA.
Airbags on bikes are not a new idea. British transport researchers have toyed with the idea for several years, and a motorcycle jacket with a built-in airbag has been on the market for some time.
Other mods on the 2006 Wing are said to be minimal, restricted to minor cosmetic changes.
