This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, a charity initiative that sees lovers of classic and vintage bikes (and dapper apparel!) come together in over 700 cities around the world to raise funds for men’s health.
To celebrate the milestone, Triumph Motorcycles UK has produced a one-of-a-kind ‘DGR’ Triumph Thruxton RS, which will be won by one lucky eligible Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride entrant via the movement’s ‘Gentlefolk Competition’.
The 2021 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride takes place on Sunday, May 23.

To be in the running for the bike, entrants must head to the DGR website and ‘unlock their badges’ by completing their profile, donating to their profile, completing a Random Donation, and raising a minimum of US$250. Full details can be found on the DGR website.
All entrants will receive a 2021 DGR Commemorative Prize Patch and a single entry to the competition to win the DGR Triumph Thruxton RS, whose winner will be drawn when fundraising closes on June 6, 2021.
The bike in question was designed, painted and customised in Triumph Motorcycles’ UK paint shop within its Hinckley facility, and features a unique look with DGR graphics.
Founded in 2012 in Sydney by Mark Hawwa, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride now has a presence in 114 countries. It has raised almost US$30 million (approximately A$38.7 million) for men’s health, including charity partner Movember.
“Ten years of riding dapper for men’s health is nothing short of incredible and celebrating that with this one-of-a-kind motorcycle designed in collaboration with Triumph Motorcycles is such an exciting was to honour that,” said Hawwa.
“This DGR Triumph Thruxton RS will be the key prize of our Gentlefolk Competition, giving every single fundraiser that unlocks their badges in DGR 2021 the chance to win. It’s a piece of DGR memorabilia that brilliantly represents the committed efforts of our dedicated gentlefolk around the world, and the shared passion of our partners, Triumph Motorcycles.”
