Win GA passes to Phillip Island WSBK

Also includes free camping

Phillip Island Motor Sports, in conjunction with the Bikesales Network, is giving away two three-day admission passes to the opening round of the Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island from February 26-28.

And all you have to do is to show some flair and imagination - but more on that in a minute.

The event schedule for Phillip Island has just been released, and once again there will back-to-back racing over the whole three days, featuring the cream of international and local talent.

In addition to the two world championship classes - superbike and supersport - the decorated grand prix circuit will also play host to the opening round of four Aussie titles (superbike, superstock 1000, supersport and superstock 600) and the popular historic bikes of yesteryear.

In all, there will be a 13 races held across the whole three days, while off-track activities will include the Australian Motorcycle News Expo for all the latest in bikes and accessories from the two-wheel fraternity, and also scenic helicopter flights.

And for those early birds who are on location from the start of proceedings, they are in for a special treat - Super Friday.

The windfall, which will add even more value to a three-day ticket, includes:

  • An open paddock, which will be free until 1.00pm;
  • A meet and greet in the paddock from 10.00-12.00pm, with a rotation of world superbike stars - including Aussies Chris Vermeulen, Troy Corser, Andrew Pitt and Broc Parkes - being interviewed and signing autographs; and
  • The opportunity to enter a competition during the meet and greet to win two grid passes for Sunday's race.

So how do you win the two three-day general admission tickets and a camping spot for four nights, which all up is worth $474?

Simply tell us in 25 words or less the question you'd ask Chris Vermeulen during the meet and greet session.

For example: "Is Alvaro Bautista on your Christmas card list? Or "Are you a better rider than Corser? Or "Is Phillip Island the best circuit in the world? Or "Are you capable of winning a race on the Kawasaki in the first half of the year? Or "Are you fit after a big pre-season in the Qld sun". Or "Do you think Tiger Woods will play this year's US Masters?

The options are infinite, and the entry with the most flair will win. And remember to keep your missive to 25 words or less or you'll be out of the running - sparkling or not.

People can enter as many times as they want, and the winner will have to find their own way to Phillip Island.

Please send the entries to mark.fattore@carsales.com.au.

Entries open at 12.00pm (EST) on Friday, January 29, and close at 12.00pm (EST) on Friday, February 5. The winner will be announced on the afternoon of February 5.
