Black Dog Ride, the national suicide prevention charity, has announced it will be raffling a BMW Motorrad RnineT Scrambler as its big ticket 2016 income item.
Tickets are $50 each, with only 2000 tickets to be sold.
“BMW is very excited to be involved with Black Dog Ride," said Tony Sesto, the General Manager of BMW Motorrad. "Over the last seven years Black Dog Ride has developed into a major supporter of a variety of mental health charities, in addition to raising invaluable awareness of depression and suicide prevention across Australia.
"Riding to raise awareness has seen motorcyclists around the nation jumping at the opportunity to support such a vital, life-saving cause."
Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Lifeline Australia and Black Dog Ride, supporting frontline mental health awareness activities.
Black Dog Ride’s Founder Steve Andrews, who lost his mother to suicide, said: “Tragically eight Australians each day take their lives, and fostering awareness of depression and suicide prevention in communities is the best catalyst for prevention.”
Ticket sales close at 11.59pm on Monday, November 7, 2016. The raffle will be drawn on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Black Dog Ride Head Office in Busselton, WA.
