Australia’s own international extreme enduro, Wildwood, will be held for the fifth consecutive year in 2013, on November 10.
At the event, riders will again push – occasionally with unique forms of improvisation -- through terrain made up of hills, rock gardens, bricks, logs, tyres, rocks, ute tubs and swinging tyres. Meanwhile, the bog holes will be getting some special attention with some much needed rocks added to reduce the water levels.
There will be five separate classes -- Pro, Expert, Clubman, Over 40s and a new one for trials bikes – battling it out for $23,750 in prizemoney. The location is just a 10-minute drive from Tullamarine airport in Melbourne.
Yamaha rider Matthew Phillips (pictured) won the 2012 event from factory Husaberg rider Alfredo Gomez.
