Wild Confederate debuts

The P120 Fighter Combat sounds dangerous, smells dangerous, and probably is dangerous

America's Confederate Motorcycles has launched another wild styling exercise, of 120 units will be put into limited production. Called the P120 Fighter Combat, the machine was released at this year's Pebble Beach auto show in the US, and follows a substantial line of very unconventional machines from the maker.

It runs a monster 1966cc V-twin that claims 118kW (160hp) and 20kg-m of torque.

Its predecessor, the C120 Renaissance Fighter, also pushed the design boundaries, and was made in a run limited to just 45 units.

Not only does the company stretch what's possible on the design front, it also has a rare talent for mangling the English language.

The blurb for the C120 says, "The Fighter clarifies opaqueness and nullifies hype with straight-forward, true-to-concept certitude. At the source is a classic right triangle. Proportion is classically derived. Scale is middle way. Bearing exudes structural permanence. Human integration deploys yang energy, vitality, and power in the most simple, pure and direct form. Geometry is optimized for the medium and/or long disciplined journey of sensory heightened motion."

Well, who are we to argue?
