The Sunshine Coast Classic Weekend has been hailed a success by organisers, with over 1500 people turning up to the vintage motorcycle event.
With great weather, a wide variety of mouth-watering machines, and plenty of skilled riders, the event at Green Park in Conondale was full of colour and energy.

Sponsored by TeamMoto and Motul, the Classic Weekend attracted 400 riders as well as over 1000 spectators and 150 volunteers, sponsors and staff.
Australian motocross and enduro legends such as Stephen Gall, Geoff Ballard and Jeff Leisk brought a touch of star power to the event.
The Saturday saw a huge day of activity with riding kicking off at 9am. The army of riders and their pre-1995 dirt bikes had five tracks to choose from, with each providing a different challenge.
The ever-popular Show and Shine featured over 70 fully-restored dirt bikes, and Gall, Lex Taylor, and Ballard had the tough job of choosing a winner. That winner turned out to be an immaculately-restored 1989 Honda CR250.
Speaking of Honda, Leisk showed up with an incredible collection of Honda models. Some were for display purposes, but the former motocross legend piloted some around the tracks, proving he can still handle a dirt bike.
Funds raised at the Classic Weekend go back to the community-run Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club, which provides a safe, fun and friendly environment for local dirt bike riders. Head to the SCMCC facebook page for more information on the club.
The Classic Weekend will return again next year with the event scheduled for June 10-12, 2022.
