Vietnam off-road: updated

We've added a seven-minute video of our week-long journey into the Vietnamese highlands, aboard Honda XR250s

In December last year the Bikesales Network went international, with staffer Matt Brogan joining some mates for a week-long tour of Vietnam.

This one was off-road, using Honda’s XR250, with the Hanoi-based Offroad Vietnam providing a tasty all-inclusive deal – about $140 a day for the whole box and dice, including bike hire, fuel, guide and accommodation. The only extras are for lubrication (allow for five to $10 a day) and personal insurance.

Matt had a blast, from making his way through the madness that is Vietnamese traffic, to sprawling tea fields and tiny villages.
Offroad Vietnam provides set motorcycle tours, and can also customise the experience, based on rider ability, geographic preference and prevailing conditions.

Gear rental is available, though given the quality of the local product it’s highly recommended you bring your own.

Click on the following link to read all about the trip - and see below for the video, which is pretty awesome if we do say so ourselves!
