An ultra mono is where the front wheel of the motorcycle is removed prior to the stunt...The art of the wheelstand, the mono, the wheelie, is not something easily learned. It takes practice, courage, balance and determination. And only the best of the best can call themselves mono maestros, able to wheelstand a motorcycle that has no front wheel.
Believe it or not, is a widely attempted stunt and as the first video below shows, it can be mesmerising to watch. However, hardest of all is the dismount. How does one 'touch-down' when one is missing a front wheel?
