Launched in 2009, the Victory 8 Ball range has been repositioned to attract more customers to the fold, something that probably won't be ignored by classic American muscle cruiser fans.
Both the 2011 Vegas 8 Ball and Hammer 8 Ball are priced with ride away packages, and are powered by Victory's 'Freedom' V-twin engine, a hefty 106 cubic inch (1731cc) mill that belts out 97hp (71kW) and 153Nm of torque. The transmission is a six-speed overdrive setup.
The Vegas 8 Ball is priced at $19,995 ride away and features black bars, forks, swingarm, chassis and exhausts. It's got a very dark persona.
"The blackness continues with the all new 2011 Hammer 8 Ball," exclaims the Victory media statement, with the big cruiser priced from $24,995 ride away. The Hammer 8 Ball comes features the same Freedom engine as the Vegas, but differs in design, and wears much larger shoes with giant 250 section rear tyre in combination with an relatively chunky front tyre shod to an 18 inch front rim.
Inverted forks are included on the Victory Hammer, which is only available in black with black trim. We're seeing a theme here...
