Saturday, January 29 saw Victory Motorcycles officially open its second company-owned store in Sydney, with the new High-Ball custom cruiser taking pride of place.
The 106 cubic inch (1731cc) solo-leaning High-Ball features high-rise bars, spoked wheels, white-wall tyres and is all black – including the handlebars, headlight bucket, triple trees, frame, fender struts and cylinder heads covers.
And, following that theme, there’s only colour – matte black with a part white tank.
The high-rise handlebars are adjustable and can be set in an upright or laid-back position with minimal fuss.
The 16-inch wheels are gripped by chunky 130-section (front) and 150-section rubber, and the undersquare, fuel injected air/oil cooled-engine (101mm x 108mm bore and stroke) is good for 97hp and 153Nm. Like all Victorys, the High-Ball is belt driven.
Seat height is a universally accommodating 635mm, the wheelbase is 1647mm, and dry weight is 300kg.
A price is yet to be set for Australia, and we expect it will go on sale in the second half of 2011.
And standby for some information on changes/additions to the entire Victory range.
The Victory Sydney store is located at 554 Parramatta Road, Ashfield, about 8km from the CBD.
