Victory goes large
Victory Motorcycles in the USA is trying out some new designs for potential tourers with its customer base online.The firm, which is owned by Polaris, has recently announced its six-model line-up for 2007 and has gone one step further by giving the public a peek at some of its styling ideas for a new full-dress tourer, based on its current 100 cubic inch (1640cc), injected V-twin. Like Harley's latest machines, it runs a six-speed gearbox with belt final drive.
Victory has not set a timeline for the new model, but claims it will "push the boundaries of luxury touring".
Meanwhile the 2007 line-up continues the company tradition of using some fairly lurid names. The model pictured is the Vegas Jackpot and, as the blurb suggests, is in no danger of blending in with the crowd.
