VFR gets a refresher
Honda's mainstay sports tourer, the VFR800, has come in for a host of mostly cosmetic refinements for 2006.The list of changes is:
Pearl Cosmic Black and Candy Glory Red colour option;
ECU mapping engages VTEC at 6600 rpm to better match the four valve power curve, producing a smoother power transition;
Clear turn signal lenses at front and rear provide a high-tech look;
Gradient on windshield has been modified for cleaner, sharper styling;
New styling on tachometer face makes numbers easier to read;
Satin finish treatment on muffler covers and exhaust heat shield for distinctive styling;
Silver finish on clutch and brake master cylinders;
Front cowling centre piece colour matched to body for integrated styling;
Black Pro-Link rear damper spring replaces the previous red coloured spring.
