Italian scooter brand Vespa has added two more special-edition variants to its range: the 2020 Vespa GTS Super Racing Sixties and 2020 Vespa Sprint 150 Racing Sixties.
While the mechanical foundations of each remain unchanged – the GTS Super powered by Vespa's new 278cc HPE single-cylinder engine (23.7hp/26.0Nm) and the Sprint 150 by a 155cc single-cylinder engine (12.9hp/12.8Nm) – the models come in two new colour schemes and feature a number of fresh cosmetic enhancements.
The green-with-yellow and white-with-red schemes are available for each model, and are complemented by a new contrast-stitched seat, gold rims and a range of matte black details, the latter including the pillion grab rail and footpegs, the headlight and taillight trim, exhaust shield, mirrors, and instrument cluster base, among others.
"These style choices project the feats of legendary sports personalities, conjuring up memories of legendary circuits such as the Monaco or Monza Grand Prix tracks, or historic championships like the Targa Florio," says Vespa.
These new special-edition variants are going on sale in June 2020 and are complemented by a range of clothing and two colour-coordinated helmets.
The 2020 Vespa GTS Super Racing Sixties is priced from $11,190 plus on-roads while the 2020 Vespa Sprint 150 Racing Sixties is priced from $7690 plus on-roads.
