Ural demonstration day: April 28
Ride a sidecar from the famous Russian stableKeen to ride an iconic Russian-made Ural sidecar? Well, now’s your opportunity with Ural Australia to hold an ‘open house’ and demonstration event at its local headquarters in Uralla (NSW) on Saturday, April 28.
The inaugural event will be the first opportunity for the public to check out the 2018 Ural range – and ride them as well!
Those without sidecar experience can also partake in sessions to learn basic skills in a controlled environment, with the following topics covered:
• Explanation of sidecar handling dynamics;
• Steering practice to familiarise with direct steering as opposed to indirect steering used on all two-wheeled bikes; and
• Braking (there's more to it than you think).
All participants require an open bike licence, and will have to sign an indemnity.

The activities will commence at 8:00am, with food and drinks available.
