GasGas has added two new models to its enduro range, with the 2024 models getting an extensive overhaul in line with those seen on their KTM and Husqvarna counterparts.
A GasGas EC 450F and EC 500F will join the line-up for the first time since KTM Group took control of the Spanish company in 2019.
Following in the footsteps of KTM and Husqvarna, and also the 2024 GasGas motocross range, the GasGas enduro line-up has been heavily updated with a new chassis, new four-stroke and two-stroke engines, upgraded suspension, and new electronics, bringing the red bikes up to speed with the competition.
The headline news is the addition of throttle body fuel injection to the two-stroke models, including the EC 250 and EC 300. The four-stroke models – EC 250F, EC 350F, EC 450F and EC 500F – also benefit from new engines, with each unit now mounted in the same position to improve handling.
Elsewhere, the 2024 range benefits from new and improved WP suspension with an XPLOR open cartridge fork and XACT rear shock with linkage. There is also a new frame, new aluminium subframe, a new die-cast aluminium swingarm, new bodywork, new forged triple clamps, new Braktec brakes, Neken handlebars, and new footpegs.
In the electronic department, the four-stroke models offer optional map switches with two engine maps, traction control and a quickshifter, while the two-stroke models also offer optional map switches with two engine maps.
GasGas has also overhauled its cross country range, with the EX 250, EX 300, EX 250F, EX 350F, and EX 450F benefitting from similar changes.
The brand’s Australian arm is yet to announce an arrival date or pricing. While the enduro models will almost certainly make their way to local shores, it is unclear if the cross-country range will follow suit.
