The world's most expensive production motorcycle -- no, not the Honda CT110 -- will be on sale at the 2009 Sydney Motorcycle Show that kicks off tomorrow at the Sydney Showground.
The very last MV Agusta F4 CC, of which only 100 units were ever made, will be on sale to one lucky Australian rider for a cool $185,000.
Coincidentally you could buy roughly 150 second-hand CT 110s for the same money. Not sure that would be a wise move, but food for thought nevertheless.
The F4 CC gets its name from the Italian MV Agusta boss, Claudio Castiglioni, and is powered by a fettled 1078cc powerplant that cranks out 200hp - enough poke to reach a claimed top speed of 315km/h.
The F4 CC also has "an abundance of technical upgrades" to improve its chassis dynamics and handling characteristics.
As part of the deal, the buyer of the last ever MV Agusta F4 CC will also walk away with an official F4 CC Trussadi leather jacket plus a Girard-Perregaux timepiece which, like the motorcycle, has its own production number.
