If you are champing at the bit to get your hands on one of the ultra-cool and ultra-rare KTM RC 8C track-day machines, now is your chance. But you better be quick.
KTM Australia has announced that is has secured an extremely limited number of RC 8C units for the local market, and they are on sale now.
Only 200 units of the second-generation sportsbike have been produced globally and now 10 of them are available for Australian and New Zealand customers.
The KMT RC 8C is powered by the LC8c DOHC parallel-twin engine with titanium components and a peak figure of 135hp at 11,000rpm. The bike also comes with a suite of electronics that includes adjustable throttle control, traction/launch/anti-wheelie control, and engine braking adjustment.
Other features include a titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, top-shelf WP Pro suspension components, Brembo Stylema and Corsa Costa braking components, Pirelli Diablo racing tyres, and a long list of racing-focused parts.
KTM says the bike is purpose-built for the track, which is helped by its impressive 142kg dry weight and high-end components. Each unit is stamped with its serial number on the triple clamp.
To secure one the 10 RC 8C units, contact your local KTM dealer immediately. The bikes are available on a first come, first served basis.
