Tyre workshop: Sydney, April 10

Learn everything you wanted to know about motorcycle tyres and how the environment, riding styles and suspension affect performance and wear

'MotoNight' will be held on Friday, April 10 at Sydney Motorsport Park from 6:00-9:00pm, and is designed to provide a wide-ranging overview of how tyre performance and longevity is dependent on a number of factors and not just how animated you are on the throttle.

Discussion points will include what pressures to run and 'cold tearing'. The session will be valuable for both track and road-based riders.

The presenters will be former road racing star Peter Goddard and Dave O'Rourke form Australian Pirelli distributor Link International.

The evening will commence with a free barbecue at 6:00pm, and then the workshop commences at 7:00pm. Attendees will also have the chance to win a set for Pirelli tyres as well as chatting to Goddard and Kevin Magee afterwards.

Cost is $15, but free for motoDNA riders who are booked into the April 10 training day at Sydney Motorsport Park. For more details and to book click here.
