2019 'Black Edition' Suzuki M109Rs

Suzuki's biggest cruiser gets the blacked-out treatment...

Two new colour schemes mark the arrival of Suzuki's 1800cc Boulevard M109R for the 2019 model year.

The so-called Black Edition – now available with either white and blue bodywork, or in red and black – sees many of the bike's chrome pieces replaced with all-black options, while clear indicator lenses replace the standard machine's amber ones.

As well as a blacked-out 109 cubic-inch engine, which is good for 160Nm of torque, the slash-cut mufflers are now black, as is the drag-style handlebar, the levers, the brake calipers and even the sidestand.

The tough look is completed by the M109R's 240-section rear tyre, which is the widest yet to appear on any Suzuki production road bike.

The 2019 Black Edition M109R models are available from Suzuki dealerships now for an introductory price of $18,990 (plus on-road costs) and come with a two-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.
