Twitch builds custom Indian Chieftain for Ryan Sheckler

FMX legend Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg has entered the world of building custom baggers

Freestyle motocross icon Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg has gifted skateboard legend Ryan Sheckler with an eye-popping custom Indian Chieftain bagger.

The one-off build is part of Indian’s Forged series, which sees well-known names in motorcycling reimagine various Indian models with their own unique style.

Twitch is a 16-times X Games medallist and has made regular video part and television appearances at the peak of his career, but more recently has stepped into the world of big V-twin motorcycles and custom bike building.

The FMX star teams up with Seth Brisson in the latest episode of the Forged series and is tasked with building a custom Chieftain. He selects his friend and pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler as the lucky recipient.

“I’ve always wanted to build a bike,” said Twitch. “And now, thanks to Indian Motorcycle, I’ve finally got the chance – and, even better, I get to give it to a great friend.

“I just wanted to make something dope that fits my style, but also something Ryan would be stoked on. I think we nailed it.”

With Brisson’s help, Twitch transformed a stock 2025 Indian Chieftain PowerPlus, giving it a clean, blacked-out appearance, with plenty of intricate design details. This included subtle lace-inlaid paint, billet aluminium, and carbon fibre accents.

“He (Sheckler) said if he ever had a bike, he wanted it to look like Knight Ryder,” Twitch explained. “So that’s exactly what we did. We went gloss black, matte black, satin black, and had some fun with it.”

The build also focused on performance, with race-ready suspension, braking components, plus ergonomics to replicate an MX riding position, which suits Sheckler’s history of riding motocross bikes in his spare time.

Twitch also added some personalised styling details, such as having Sheckler’s children’s names printed across the fairing.
