Triumph has teamed up with iconic guitar manufacturer Gibson for a unique collaboration inspired by the 1959 Triumph Bonneville T120 and the 1959 Les Paul Standard.
While the exact nature of the collaboration is yet to be revealed, it is likely that a special-edition Triumph Bonneville T120, decked out in Gibson’s famous 'washed cherry sunburst' colour scheme, will be the end result. Another possibility is an exclusive Triumph-branded Gibson Les Paul.

The iconic Les Paul Standard was originally produced from 1958-1960, but high demand forced Gibson to resume production in 1976. The classic axe has remained in continuous production since.
Used by iconic guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Slash, Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton, the Les Paul Standard is one of most recognised guitar shapes in history. It was most famously complete in the sunburst colourway.
The Bonneville T120, meanwhile, was released in 1959 and was the first model of the now-legendary Bonneville series. It was discontinued in 1975 in favour of the larger T140, but it was revived in 2016 with a larger engine and modern specifications. It now acts as the foundation of Triumph’s Modern Classic range of motorcycles.
Adding further importance to the collaboration is a shared ambition between the two brands to support the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, a global charity event that raises awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer.
Full information about the Triumph and Gibson partnership will be released this month.
