The legendary Triumph Thruxton will be discontinued after 2024, with one final production run planned as a celebration of the iconic café racer.
Checking in at $28,100 ride away and set to arrive in Australian showrooms by May 2024, the Triumph Thruxton Final Edition is based on the Thruxton RS platform and adds a swag of premium aesthetic details that enhance its exclusivity.
These upgrades include a Competition Green metallic paint scheme, black side panels and mudguards, artist-signed hand-painted gold lining on the fuel tank and seat cowl, a heritage Triumph logo in gold on the fuel tank, special Final Edition branding, and a Final Edition badge.
All of this is in addition to the RS specification which includes the brilliant 1200cc parallel-twin engine, race-bred and fully adjustable Showa fork and Ohlins shock, Brembo M50 brakes, multiple ride modes, twin-clock instrument cluster, LED lighting, and USB charging.
Every Thruxton Final Edition will come with a certificate of authenticity signed by members of the Thruxton 1200 design team and also Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor.
The Thruxton name was first used by Triumph in 1965 for the Thruxton Bonneville – a limited-edition production class racer that was named after the Thruxton circuit in Hampshire. The name was then revived in 2004 with the Thruxton 900 café racer, and the Thruxton 1200 debuted in 2016.
Triumph Australia has said that the Thruxton Final Editon will arrive in local showrooms from May 2024 in extremely limited numbers. Interested customers should contact their local Triumph dealer for more information.
