It was the London truckers' café that became a favourite haunt of British motorcyclists in the 1960s, and formed an instrumental piece of the café racer culture of the era.
To celebrate the rich association of Triumph with the Ace Cafe, a new special edition Thruxton Ace was recently revealed in Brighton, England.
The Thruxton Ace has a one-off pure white and jet black paint livery, and the bike is co-branded with Ace Café logos adorning the side panels, tank and tail section. There's also a sculpted Oxblood custom seat, detachable seat hump, authentic bar end mirrors, and a handlebar plaque.
The Ace features the same parallel twin engine as the standard Thruxton, producing 69hp and 69Nm. The chassis includes steel tube frame, 41mm KYB forks, twin KYB rear shocks, Nissin disc brakes and wire spokes on aluminium rims.
The Thruxton Ace is now on sale for $15,990.
