Triumph teases all-new Speedmaster

New Bobber-based cruiser set for an early October reveal

Triumph has released a teaser video of its forthcoming Speedmaster cruiser, citing Tuesday October 3, 2017 as they it will make its world premiere.

Using the 2017 Bobber’s engine and frame as the platform around which it will be based, the Speedmaster is the last in a long line of newly launched Bonneville-based models released by the Hinckley-based firm this year.

The 30-second video gives little away aside from glimpses of plenty of chrome and the unmistakable Triumph parallel-twin engine, set amid dramatic music and four punchy phrases: British attitude; Classic custom style; Class-leading capability (which leads us to wonder exactly what class a Bobber-based cruiser will slot into) and finishing with New British icon.

All will be revealed on October 3, which happens to coincide with Triumph’s grand opening of its new visitor centre. Stay tuned.
