Triumph has confirmed its new rugged and learner-friendly Scrambler 400 XC is headed Down Under next month.
The new model launched in India two months ago and joins the Scrambler 400 X and the Speed 400 in the brand’s single-cylinder 400cc range.
It will be priced from $11,490 ride away and comes equipped with side-laced wire spoked and lightweight aluminium wheels, tubeless tyres, a new high front mudguard, a flyscreen, and fresh new colour ways.
Elsewhere, the Scrambler 400 XC shares much of its makeup with the Scrambler 400 X, which is currently priced from $9990 ride away.
Both bikes also feature a 43mm upside-down fork and monoshock combo with 150mm travel front and rear, as well as a dedicated off-road ABS mode, switchable traction control, and a USB charging socket.
The Speed 400 is a road-focused machine and checks in at $8990 ride away.
All three models are built in India through Triumph’s partnership with soon-to-be KTM majority owner, Bajaj Auto. The 400 platform shares similar specs to KTM’s 390 platform, but Triumph says that no parts are shared.
The new Scrambler 400 XC will arrive in August and is available in Vanilla White for the base price, or Racing Yellow and Storm Grey for $11,690 ride away.
