
Triumph Motorcycles’ earnings soared by 48 per cent to $34 million in the last financial year. The company's total income rose by 11 per cent to $527 million.
Triumph sold 48,684 machines worldwide during that period, up seven per cent on the previous 12 months thanks to machines like the new Tiger 800 making a strong impact.
At last month’s EICMA show in Milan, Triumphed unveiled three new bikes – a big-bore adventurer called the Explorer (pictured), a premium version of the Speed Triple naked, and a special Steve McQueen edition of the Bonneville.
Meanwhile, Triumph has announced its seven-bike line-up which will spearhead its push into a new, promising frontier -- India. They are the Bonneville, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800XC, Daytona 675, Triumph Storm and the Rocket III.
Triumph will also begin selling bikes in Brazil very soon.
