Triumph Moto2 765 Limited Edition

The Moto2 factory ride for the road

Triumph’s launched its Moto2 765 Limited Edition at the Silverstone MotoGP round, a machine which produces only around 10hp less than the full-spec Moto2 race engine.

The single-seat Moto2 765 Limited Edition, which Triumph says “is the closest you can get to a genuine Moto2 factory ride for the road”, pumps out a claimed 130hp at 12,250rpm and 81Nm at 9750rpm, supported by an aluminium twin-spare frame, Ohlins suspension, top-spec Brembo Stylema brakes and an upswept Arrow titanium exhaust.

The engine benefits directly from the Moto2 engine program and has titanium inlet valves, stronger pistons, new cam profiles, new intake trumpets and modified conrods, intake ports, crank and barrels. The engine revs higher than the Street Triple RS powerplant by 600rpm, with a redline of 13,250rpm.
