Triumph is continuing its expansion into the small-to-middleweight motorcycle market with two new additions to its 400 range.
The Triumph Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400 are set to land in Australia early next year, joining the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and Scrambler 400 XC in the brand’s 400cc lineup.
Both new models are powered by an updated version of Triumph’s 398cc TR-Series engine, built in India by partner Bajaj Auto. Triumph says the latest evolution of the powerplant produces 41hp—a five per cent increase—and benefits from a higher rev limit and stronger top-end performance.
The Tracker 400 features flat, wide handlebars and repositioned footpegs to create a flat-track-inspired riding position. It also sports a seat cowl, number board, boxy fuel tank, fly screen, and new wheels wrapped in Pirelli MT60 RS tyres.
Meanwhile, the Thruxton 400 adopts the iconic Thruxton silhouette for a classic café racer look and feel. It comes equipped with clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs, and a refined suspension setup. The full-size Thruxton was discontinued in 2024.

Like the other 400 models, both the Tracker and Thruxton are fitted with LCD displays, USB-C charging ports, a ride-by-wire throttle, and switchable traction control and ABS.
The Thruxton 400 will arrive in February priced at $10,390 ride away, while the Tracker 400 is due to reach dealerships in March from $9,990 ride away.
