Triumph dealers expand

Triumph's dealer network has undergone some useful expansion recently, with the appointment of a new franchise in Griffith and the opening of a new shop in Newcastle.

Griffith Motorcycle Centre, located in Burrell Place, is run by Janice and Tony Norris, has joined a carefully tailored list of service points dotted around the country.

"We've always been extra careful when selecting dealers," said Triumph's Paul Grocutt. "The idea is to have a good geographical spread so people can get top service, without ending up with a dealer on every street corner.

"Having the Norris family join us works well - they have a great reputation and service an important district."

Meanwhile the long-established Triumph dealer in Newcastle, NSW, John Brisans, has just opened a new store with more space and a complete refit.

Last on the list of good news is the marque's Hobart dealer, Motorworks, has recently won the Motorcycle Dealer of the Year gong, awarded by the Tasmania Automotive Chamber of Commerce.

(Ed's note: the new 675 pictured is expected in Australia some time around March.)
