Triumph celebrates British motorcycle culture with three special models

The three special-edition models feature premium details that celebrate motorcycle culture in Britain

The onslaught of special edition models from Hinckley has continued, with Triumph revealing three new limited-edition motorcycles that will be available for one year only.

Following the recent reveal of the ‘Gold Line’ edition Bonneville models, the British firm has added a Triumph Street Twin EC1, a Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up, and Triumph Rocket 3 221 to its lineup – each carrying a unique paint scheme and premium custom details.

Due to arrive in Australian showrooms from January 2022, the three new models celebrate the iconic British motorcycle culture.

The Triumph Street Twin EC1 honours the vibrant custom-classic motorcycle culture of London’s East End, which includes the iconic EC1 postcode that gives this machine its name.

Priced from $17,150 ride away, the Street Twin EC1 features a custom-inspired Matte Aluminium Silver and Matter Silver Ice paint scheme, as well as dedicated EC1 graphics and detailing, and a new accessory-fit Matte Silver Ice fly screen.

Meanwhile, the Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up edition celebrates Britain’s café racer culture of the 1950s and 1960s. The ‘Ton Up Boys’ were a group of motorcyclists who raced between cafes in the hope of achieving 100mph (aka ‘the ton’).

The Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up

The Thruxton RS Ton Up checks in at $27,150 ride away and adds a classically-inspired Aegean Blue fuel tank with Jet Black knee pad graphics, a Fusion White seat cowl with Carnival Red infill and a 100 Special Edition graphic, and a Fusion White mudguard with a ‘100’ graphic.

Also featured on the Ton Up edition is a new accessory-fit Aegean Blue cockpit fairing, as well as Matte Aluminium Silver fork protectors and blacked-out wheels, engine covers and RSU springs.

The Triumph Rocket 3 221

Finally, the Triumph Rocket 3 221 (available in both R and GT guises) is a nod to the world-leading 221Nm of torque that the machine produces.

The Rocket 3 221 edition checks in at $35,850 ride away for the R version, and $36,850 ride away for the GT version. It features a new Red Hopper pain scheme, 221 knee pad graphics, 221 fuel tank graphics, and Sapphire Black mudguard brackets, headlight bowls, flyscreen, side panels, rear bodywork and radiator cowls.

All three special edition models will be available from January for one year only. Speak to your nearest Triumph dealer for more information.
