A British motorcycle tuned by a German company paying homage to an Austrian festival? Strange bedfellows indeed, but the end result -- the Triumph Bonneville café racer you see here -- is a very nice piece of kit.
Created by German tuning house LSL Motorrad, the Triumph Bonneville Tridays limited edition was created to spruik the three-day Triumph motorcycle festival, held in Neukirchen, Austria (June 25-27). But more on the festival later...
The 2010 Triumph Bonneville has been given a raft of new accessories, including YSS shocks, a Remus exhaust system and other classic café racer fodder in the form of Ace Bars.
As the photos show, there's a sleek new seat section and aftermarket alloy mudguards complete the picture, and the instrumentation has also been changed, all of which give the Triumph Bonneville Tridays limited edition an appealing retro image.
LSL is building 20 versions of the Tridays Bonneville, which will retail for €12,950, and with the way the Euro is going at the moment that translates to just $19,815. Though importation duties (and the red tape) would probably make it not worth the while. Check out LSL-MotorradTechnik.de for more details.
As a side note, the Tridays festival that takes place in Austria, celebrating all things Triumph for three days, is taken so seriously by the locals that the town in which it is held, Neukirchen, is renamed Newchurch for the event (the English translation). Head over to Tridays.com for more info on the event.
