Triumph Battery Optimiser

New 'Optimiser' device from Triumph charges batteries and can also diagnoses issues

Ever gone to start your bike and it's got a dead battery? It can be upsetting, especially if there's an issue with the battery and it won't recharge.

Triumph has entered the market with an 'official' Triumph Optimate 3+ charger priced from around $90 that can accomplish several tasks.

As well as charging, the device can diagnose and desulphate batteries 'safely' and will check for (and indicate) if the battery drain is from internal damage or issues with the vehicle electronics.

It has full electronic and passive protection and works with all types of 12V lead-acid batteries.

Priced at $89.95 the Triumph Battery Optimiser is available now (but only through the Triumph Dealer Network) and works automatically once connected to a battery.

There's also a connection lead that lets numerous bikes use the charger without having to remove the battery, priced at $11.95.

Seeing as they are official products, the Triumph Optimate 3+ charger and connection lead are covered by a full two year Triumph warranty if bought with a bike, or a one year warranty as stand alone.
