The 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler has received a modest update, while a new special edition model adds a unique paint scheme and premium accessories fitted as standard.
Combining custom vintage style with fine performance, easy handling, and high-spec equipment, the Triumph Street Scrambler has been refined for 2021 with a Euro 5 engine update and new styling and detail choices.
Triumph also recently announced a similar update for its 1200 Scrambler range, which also included a new and exclusive Steve McQueen edition.

Despite the Euro 5 update, the Street Scrambler’s 900cc Bonneville twin-cylinder performance remains largely unchanged, with the donk producing 65hp at 7250rpm and 80Nm at 3250rpm. But Triumph says the changes made to achieve the lower emissions have also led to better fuel efficiency.
Elsewhere, Triumph has opted for new styling choices with a new side panel and aluminium number board, a new heel guard, new brushed aluminium headlight brackets, a new adventure-oriented seat material, new throttle body finishes, and new contemporary paint schemes.
The Street Scrambler maintains its high level of specification and equipment for 2021, with Brembo brakes, scrambler-style ergonomics, a 19-inch front wheel, dual-purpose Metzeler Tourance tyres, a low 790mm seat height, three ride modes, switchable ABS and traction control, torque-assist clutch, LED lighting, a USB charger and an immobiliser.
While there isn’t much else to report on the 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler range, the big news is the addition of a limited-production Sandstorm edition.
Celebrating Triumph’s connection with desert riding throughout North America, the Street Scrambler Sandstorm adds a unique Matt Storm Grey paint scheme with Ironstone accents, as well as a bunch of premium accessories fitted as standard.
Some of the accessories fitted include a compact LED tail light and number-plate light, a heavy-duty aluminium sump guard, a headlight grille, and subtle Triumph branding throughout.
Only 775 examples of the Sandstorm edition will be produced worldwide, with each unit carrying a personalised certificate of authenticity stating the bike's VIN number.
While Triumph is yet to announce local pricing, it is expected that the Sandstorm edition will arrive in May 2021, while the regular Street Scrambler is expected to hit our shores in May or June 2021.
