Triumph adds Bobber Black to the Bonnie range

Got any blacker? No sir re

Triumph used the high anticipated launch of the Speedmaster to announce the first spin-off of its relatively new Bobber model, called the Bobber Black.

As the name suggests it’s received the black treatment: the gloss black bodywork is accentuated by all-black, well, everything, including headers, silencers, engine cases, levers, footpegs, headlight surround, rims and hubs, even the levers.

But more than just a colour enhancement, the Bobber Black gets a couple of upgrades to its running gear, too, with a fatter front tyre, a more robust fork and a second 310mm rotor and Brembo caliper instead of the single-disc Nissan set-up on the standard machine.

No word yet on Australian pricing and availability, but it shouldn’t be far away. Stay tuned.
