Triple adventure

Benelli has new stock in Australia, this time offering two models using the company's signature 1130cc triple cylinder powerplant: the Tre-K adventure sport and Amazonas variant with wire wheels.

Both are based around a new trellis-style frame and claim 123 horses matched to a six-speed cassette-type gearbox.

"The Tre-K and Amazonas have been eagerly awaited in Australia since they were unveiled at the Cologne Motorcycle Expo in September 2006," said Paul Nobbs of importer Stoney Creek Powersports.

Prices are $19,990 for the Tre-K and $20,990 for the Amazonas, both ORC.

We're told that the Tre-K, for a limited time, is being offered with a complementary set of colour-matched panniers valued at $1200.
