Every year the Triumph Tridays festival takes over the small Austrian town of Neukirchen, and is one of the biggest Triumph gatherings in Europe.
A tasty little offshoot of the event is organiser Uli Brée's annual unveiling of a one-off custom Triumph, and in 2012 the vehicle is Rumbler, a customised Triumph Scrambler.
Built by two experienced European tuners, Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler of LSL, and Jens vom Brauck of JvB-Moto, the Tridays Rumbler was designed as a practical machine, not just a showpiece.
Fitted with Ohlins suspension tweaked to provide a little more ground clearance and chunky Pirelli tyres, the Triumph parallel twin was created to compete in the Tridays Rumble, which is a competitive 400 metre sprint race at the festival that takes place on grass and dirt.
Other mechanical modifications over the regular Triumph Scrambler include custom upside-down triple clamps that alter the steering angle slightly, an arrow exhaust system, and a beefed up braking package from Magura Supermoto, comprising 4-pot calipers and a radial master cylinder.
The stock handlebars have been replaced with flat a Roadster item, and there's a number of cosmetic alterations that add the icing on the cake.
New headlight, side panels, a dual flat seat and compact front finder are all from JvB-Moto parts and the custom brown tank is a nice touch too.
