Fox has utilised a lot of advanced technology in its new V3 helmet. Fox’s Fluid Inside system helps protect against rotational and linear energy. There is also Fox’s trademark CAGE chin-bar/eye port, which is designed to improve energy management in the event of a crash, and a magnetic visor release system. They call the ODS system ‘a helmet within a helmet’. There is also a replaceable inner EPS liner, a multi-impact outer EPP liner and progressive EPP damping towers. A removable, washable liner, quick-release system, optimised ventilation, cervical protection zone, optimised tri-composite shell and a weight of 1480g, are just some of the highlights on an extensive list.
