5. Yamaha MT-09 – so much mumbo, so much fun, for a surprisingly nice price.

2. Harley-Davidson’s Breakout for selling more examples than even Honda’s postal-issue NBC110 did to become the highest-selling bike in the country.
3. Ducati’s SuperSport for being an affordable all-day Superbike.
4. Royal Enfield’s Himalayan for thumbing its nose at capacity and technology and still become a capable go-anywhere adventure bike.
5. Yamaha’s YZF-R6 for being the last of a delightful and once-dominant category of high-pitched sports bikes.
