Freestyle stunt rider Dave McKenna has teamed up with Yamaha, where he’ll demonstrate his wide variety of skills aboard a YZF-R6 supersport bike as well as a WR450F enduro machine converted into supermotard spec.
McKenna, who is the face of Australia’s first ever motorcycle freestyle school called Wheelie Zone, has performed professionally for over six years in both Australia and China. He is also a qualified motorcycle instructor and is known for being able to perform displays in areas as small as five square metres.
In addition to his riding skills, McKenna is an ambassador for the Cancer Council Australia having twice suffered and beaten the disease.
“This is exactly the kind of opportunity I have been working towards and now that I have it I’m about to take my career to where I've always known it could go. Yamaha is also now the official partner of our freestyle school Wheelie Zone.”
