Toni Bou is a freak. How else can you describe the Spanish trials rider, who's just collected his 11th straight world outdoor title – to sit alongside 11 consecutive indoor victories!
The Honda-Montesa sealed his latest outdoor title in the Czech Republic last weekend (September 9-10) and now holds an unassailable lead in the championship with one round to go over Spanish compatriots Adam Raga (TRS) and Jamie Busto (Honda-Montesa).

"I battled to win the trial but today was not to be, although the aim today had been to get the title," said Bou.
"This season has been a very good one, the first victory in Camprodón and the two in Japan, where Adam Raga lost points, have been important, as well as the two victories in the United States."
Since 1989, there have only been six winner of the outdoor world trials title: Jordi Torres (1989-1991, 1993-1995), Tommy Ahvala (1992), Marc Colomer (1996), Dougie Lampkin (1997-2004), Raga (2006) and Bou (2007-2017). Raga has finished second every year since Bou's reign began…
The eighth and final event in the 2017 TrialGP world title takes place in Arco di Trento, Italy on September 16-17.
