Toni Bou: a life behind bars

The Spaniard's domination of moto trials competition is absolute, and in this video he takes us through his career and where it all began

Spaniard Toni Bou is a freak: he has been undefeated in the outdoor and indoor moto trials world titles since 2007, he's an 11-time Spanish moto trials champion, and he's been a member of Spain's undefeated Trial des Nations team since 2006.

On the individual level, that's akin to Bou's compatriot Marc Marquez winning the MotoGP world title every year until 2020. Well, it could happen but you get our drift: Bou is one out of the bag, as the spectators who saw him competing at the Aussie round of the world moto trials title in 2014 can attest to.

In this video, the Honda factory rider takes us on a ride through his riding career, from bicycles to the Dakar, as well as what motivates him and drives him to work harder — even after so much success. And it's in Spanish, so grab your glasses if you have to defer to the subtitles...
Honda Racing Corporation will be releasing more  ‘A Life Behind the Bars’ during the year.
