Throttle Roll, the motorcycle street party that blends cool custom bikes, vintage machinery, and modern classics with a smorgasbord of live rock ’n’ roll, is set to return to Sydney’s inner west.

To be held in Marrickville on the Monday of NSW’s Labour Day long weekend (October 2), this “iconic celebration of motorcycle culture” is back, its organisers promising it will be “bigger, louder and wilder than ever before”.

“The long-awaited return of Throttle Roll will finally arrive on the October Long Weekend, with custom bikes, live bands, and booze; bringing together the fun and frivolity of Australian motorcycling culture,” say event organisers.

“This isn’t your typical motorcycle event, though; while some of the country’s wildest motorcycle builds will be on display, Throttle Roll has built a reputation since its first event in 2013 to celebrate the lively culture of this creative community. Think rock ’n’ roll, swinging hips, and singing lips. It’s a celebration of the creativity and passion behind the niche subculture of custom motorcycles.”

The event will feature food and drinks outlets, artist and brand displays, and a heap of live bands, including Papa Pilko & The Binrats, XOLO (formally the Frankie’s World Famous House Band), Howlin Alvarez & Drey Rollan, and The Stripp.

Supported by Royal Enfield, MV Agusta, Triumph, Harley Heaven, BMW Motorrad, Shannons, Savic Motorcycles, SKRAM, Deus, Super73, and SA1NT, the event will get underway from 11:00am and party on until 7:00pm at Railway Parade (Lower), Marrickville.

Early Bird tickets are available for $35, while Final Release tickets are $45 or you can pay $50 at the door.
