Italian scooter giant Piaggio is set for an infusion of fresh models for 2013, with the Beverly 350 Sport Touring, Yourban 300 and all-new X10 500 all heading our way.
The Beverly 350 Sport Touring benefits from a new midrange 350cc engine with dry sump, CVT auto transmission with wet multi-plate clutch, and a new internal roller bearing design. The scoot also comes with ABS and ARS (traction control) as standard.
The Yourban 300 supersedes the MP3 300 three-wheeler and features updated styling and larger-diameter front wheels, while Piaggio says its new X10 500 takes the maxi scooter concept to a whole new level.
The feature-packed X10 500 bristles with ABS, traction control, electronically adjustable rear suspension, a side-stand-actuated park brake, LCD instrumentation, backlit handlebar controls, an immobiliser, a USB port and three storage compartments, including a massive 52lt underseat storage area. Piaggio’s new flagship is powered by the marque’s twin-spark, fuel-injected and liquid-cooled Master 500 engine.
Piaggio points out that all three new models are built in Italy. Colours and pricing details will be confirmed a little closer to the models’ release, which has been scheduled for the second half of 2013. See your nearest Piaggio dealer for more information.
