Thirst 4 Destruction kicks off in Perth
The latest Crusty Demons show has now commenced in WA, with a bunch of global FMX stars putting on a feast in the two-hour extravaganzaNearly 12,000 people packed Perth’s Burswood Dome on October 16 to witness the most extreme Crusty Demons show yet -- Thirst 4 Destruction.
The West Australian crowd marvelled at the antics of global FMX stars Mike Metzger, Nate Adams, Taka Higashino, Mike Mason and Adam Jones, not to mention local tearaways Jackson Strong and Kain Saul.
Australia’s first-ever female FMX rider Emma McFerran was a clear crowd favourite, along with six-year-old Perth schoolboy Jasyn Roney, who demonstrated his phenomenal bike handling skills in race against Crusty Demons legend Bubba.
Moto trials rider Jack Field entered the arena via the grandstand stairwell and nailed the world’s lowest ever backflip off a 30cm kicker.
Australian star Robbie Maddison did not compete in the opening sho0w while he continues to recover from a wrist injury. But he was still on location, sharing MC duties with Jerry Bernardo.
