The federal budget in surplus.
Hopefully not Charley Boorman -- he's been way over exposed in Australia. We know he loves a bit of adventure stuff; there's nothing more to add.
A reduction in the proliferation of signage on public roads. It's not 'value-added'; it's erroneous clutter.
We won’t see as many speed cameras, or at least not in Victoria. Why? Because after a new law was passed in October, camera operators are allowed to hide behind signs, in the scrub – even halfway up a mountain – in their bid to keep us safe. They’ll still be there – you just won’t see ’em. I feel safer already… Poorer, too. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with highly visible cameras encouraging motorists to slow down in known traffic-accident blackspots, but donning camouflage and going bush in the name of protecting citizens from themselves? That’s bullshit.Martin Child – Bikesales Network contributor
Ducati back on top in MotoGP or World Superbike. You can buy the riders, you can buy the teams but you can’t buy the wins. Owner Audi might have deep pockets, but it’s kinda refreshing to know there’s more to championships than just piles of the folding. Let’s hope that Suzuki’s return to the top table in 2015 ignites a fatter spark and sees real competition at every round.
