In Victoria, I’m pretty certain we won’t see a reduction in revenue generated through fixed and mobile speed cameras. Under pressure to post a budget surplus, in 2012 the Victorian Baillieu government saw fit to raise speeding fines and other penalties, helping it to stay in the black by the barest of margins.
