Things we won't see in 2012

What's unlikely to transpire in 2012? Plenty, and we've brainstormed to identify a few of them -- although we have been wrong in the past...

Mark Fattore: Bikesales Network editor
Dani Pedrosa go through the MotoGP season uninjured, and the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries backing down on its opposition to rollover protection devices on ATVs.

Feann Torr: Bikesales Network staff journalist
An affordable electric sports bike that looks sharp and aggressive, yet has a decent cruising range. The stuff of fantasy in 2012, but give it another half decade and we could be seeing more and more electric bikes at track days, lined up at the traffic lights, parked outside trendy cafes in the summer and in dealership showrooms. For years there's been talk of an electric bike revolution (I may have even written something to that effect, perhaps somewhat prematurely...) and though we're not there yet it will happen this, umm, century.

Martin Child: Bikesales Network contributor
Lanky wheelies up the high street (unless you want to join the murderers in the Big House).
