The Zip family grows

Piaggio adds a 50cc two-stroke

Piaggio has now added a two-stroke Zip 50 to its existing range of 50cc and 100cc four-strokes.

The two-stroke, which was displayed at last year's EICMA show in Milan, is Euro 3 compliant and features an easy-to-read dashboard including a low-fuel warning light, lockable under-seat storage, a shopping bag hook and an open storage compartment in the front panel. The seat is adjustable through three positions.

Only a car licence is required to ride the Zip 50 models in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory. A motorcycle licence is required elsewhere.

The $2290 (plus ORC) Zip 50 2S is available in white, red or black.
